on a day that was NOT halloween.
friends, this was certainly one of my more uncomfortable dares…
the outfit, on its own, might have been completely fine (with the possible exception of the neon green leggings but whateverrr).
but it was the tutu.
the tutu, attached to the bumblebee top set it all off.
the challenge: neon tutu, neon leggings, and a vest.

and, in case you’re wondering, although i did want to hide indoors all day, i did travel from my car into my work x 2 on a very busy street and i walked two blocks away to purchase a stamp and back. multiple people almost wrecked their cars. i heard someone audibly laughing. someone asked if i was going to a play. another person related me to her granddaughter who regularly wears her cinderella costume around.
it was an interesting day.
