aqua satin/taffeta 40s/50s day dress- “jr. theme: new york”. This dress is truly a beauty and I was so disappointed when I bought it only to discover that is was certainly not my size at all. The tag says size 7, but I would judge it to be a 0/2 and no larger. The waist size of dresses from the 50s are super tiny, so it’s always something to be wary of. This dress even has the original belt with it, although one of the two belt loops has come loose. It would just take two or three stitches to get it right back where it belongs. This dress is in fabulous condition! $35
muted periwinkle polyester dress- this dress has no tags but it would fit anyone from a size S to an XL. That’s the beauty of the line of this dress: it can be worn on any figure. The neckline is really flattering, as well. Looks great belted! In great condition. $20
navy/burgundy paisley “business dress”- I love this dress because it’s dressy enough to be worn for business but the detailing is so lovely and it’s got a really sexy feel to it. The detailing on the buttons is my favorite part; they have such a sheen to them! This dress would look great belted or worn as it. The darker paisley adorns the collar and shoulders. “Petite 8” but could be worn by S/M. $30
canary yellow lace dress- This was once a floor length dress that I snipped to hit about knee-length; it still needs to be hemmed. The color and fabric begged to be worn as a cute, day dress rather than a floor length gown. There’s a really nice cutaway in the middle where the satin hides underneath. This is also in really great condition. No tags, but it is fairly small- no larger than a 4, but would say a size 0/2 to be safe. $20
“Lux” white lace pullover dress- This is a dress from Urban Outfitters a few years back, though I’ve only worn it a time or two. It makes a very nice babydoll outfit. It is only white lace, so it should be worn over something (a slip, either black or white or a brighter color, if you want to make quite a statement). It has a satin bow that ties in the middle. Size S. $10
bright pink polka dot polyester dress- This is a long sleeved polyester dress with tie at the neck that can either be knotted once or tied in a bow. It’s bright pink with small, white polka dots. No tag; it looks handmade. It’s in great condition. $25
burgundy polka dot ruffle dress- “It’s a Lehigh” long sleeved, burgundy ruffle dress. There are white polka dots all over the dress and pearl buttons lining the right hand side, from the waist to the shoulder. I fell in love with this dress but never wore it. It’s quite a statement piece. The tag says “size 14” but the waist is elastic, so it would fit any size (S/M/L). $30
purple/cobalt blue/black bow dress- I adore this dress but will be totally honest: it has some wear and tear. I purchased it that way, actually, which is why it was so cheap. It really needs to be hemmed at the bottom. The white part of the skirt has a few water marks. The top used to be a vibrant purple, I’m sure, but some of it has turned light pink with the combination of sun and water damage, I think (especially around the armpits and collar). No tag, but I will say size 2/4. Because of its condition, I am only asking $15 for it.
black and white houndstooth mini dress- This is a very tiny black and white houndstooth mini dress. I purchased it with the intent of wearing an oxford underneath, to be worn with some bright tights and flats. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stand holding my breath for the length of wearing it. It is really tiny- size 0/2. But it can be dressed conservatively or very sensually. $10
navy satin dress with lace detail- This dress is completely stunning. It was found at a consignment shop. “Fabian Molina collection”. Size 6. The collar and cuffs are pearl colored with navy lace. The body of the skirt has a layer of taffeta to give it a lot volume. In perfect condition. $45
multi-colored greek dress- This dress is so bright and fun. I purchased it as a Greek costume and it served the purpose well. It is floor length, covered in bright purples, greens, and reds all the way down. It is gathered right under the bust with a beautiful braided gold tassel with small rhinestone details on either side. “Stephen O’Grady”. Size 2/4/6. $25
black polyester dress- This dress is a bulky polyester and reminds me of a nun’s dress or a school uniform. The cut is really long, about mid-calf, but could be altered. It comes with a black sash that can be used to belt the dress around the middle, but this dress would look stellar with a bright, patent leather belt around the middle. The cut of the sleeves is really great, and the back has a scoop to it. It does fasten with a button, but the button has gone missing. That might be a fun, personal touch for someone to add themselves. No size, but I’d say more on the medium side (4/6/8). $15
pastel paisley dress- This dress is fantastic. Much like the darker paisley dress, it’s made of satin and has a pastel blue and pink paisley print all over. It’s great for business or business casual occasions. Pair with an elastic belt or, if you’re feeling daring, a little bowtie at the top. Great condition. Tag says size 8, but fits a size 4/6/8. “Schrader Sport Petites” $25
red/blue floral polyester dress- This dress has no tags, and I’m pretty sure it was handmade. The cut is simple and the pattern reminds me of Santa Fe. Polyester. Probably fits 4/6/8. $15
yellow floral nightie- This dress was meant for spring time! I wore this dress for Easter with a cinched belt and killer heels. It’s originally a nightie, but makes a lovely, airy dress. Canary yellow with pink and blue flowers adorning the entire gown. Handmade, I think; would fit any size! $15
deep blue Mexican dress- “Marquez of Laredo Fashions” This dress was made in Mexico and is beautifully embellished with floral embroidery. The cut actually falls off the shoulders on both sides. There are pockets, which is a plus. The fabric is really durable, and the dress is made really well. Would fit any size! $25
maroon suede dress- This is a bright maroon dress with peach/tan detailing. The entire dress is crushed suede and has an elastic waistband. Looks great with a cinched belt and gladiator sandals! Great shape. No tag- roughly a size 2/4/6/8. $20
leather dress- This dress is truly a statement piece. “Irvington Place sportswear by Lili”. Fits snugly on a size 4/6. It is completely leather, lined with satin. It’s quite toasty, but is subtly naughty. Fits like a Go Go dress from the 70s. $40
blue/olive mini from Gap- This is a minidress from Gap a while back. It’s a size 2, but is meant to be curve-hugging, so it fits very snugly. The pattern is retro-inspired and is what drew me to it to begin with. It looks great with a white head scarf and tall socks with flats- very 60s. $20
black polyester with sheer sleeves- This is another black polyester dress with some lovely detailing: pearl buttons at the collar, sheer sleeves, and pearl buttons on the cuffs. No tag- roughly size 4/6/8. $25
leather jacket- It’s a little warm now, but for cooler months, this jacket is all you need to make a bold statement. “Triangles”. Shoulders have slight padding, so it does have a rather bulky fit. Angled collars, and a leather belt. Leather jackets look great paired with delicate pieces, like airy, floral dresses, tights, and ankle boots. $30
forever 21 blouse- This is a brand new top from Forever 21. Pearl-colored satin with black lace detailing. There is a string to tie around the collar. The ruffles spill down the chest of the blouse until about mid-way, and small round black buttons line the remainder of the front. Medium. The tag says $22 but I’m only asking $10.
